Lake County, where Mooney was raised, does not register for a map of Michigan counties which are house for some kind of university. Neither does a chunk that is huge of north element of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula, the entirety associated with the Thumb or a number of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Michigan’s 15 general public universities, 28 general public community universities and a large number of personal universities and colleges are mostly clustered around one another, producing large advanced schooling deserts somewhere else within the state.
